He originates from a photography background, capturing light and shadow with a keen lens.
Formerly Lin Yihua’s official stage lighting designer, he portrays stories with light and shadow.
Though gentle and refined, his wisdom shines through in his lighting designs.
He is acclaimed in the industry as the “Poet of Light.”
Lai Yunong graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts with a major in Lighting Design and earned a Master’s degree in Architectural Lighting from Parsons School of Design in New York.
He is a contracted lighting artist with Dance with Light and a lecturer at Yunzhi Lighting Academy.
He is the founder and design director of Ten Yu Lighting Design Company.
He serves as the Chief Coordinator for the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) in Greater China and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA).
