LEGO’s Paradise | Opening Ceremony of Guangzhou Design Center

A dance with light style

Creating an art centre with a space of 1000㎡

At the beginning of August, the exhibition of Liang He’s LEGO artworks was launched in Duo Yun Books in Shanghai, and the second stop of the exhibition will be opened simultaneously in Guangzhou this Saturday (26th August).

Located in Guangzhou’s Baiyun District, the art centre where the exhibition will be held took several months to complete, and this is the first time that “LEGO’s Paradise” has made its full debut after moving into the art centre.

After a long time of preparation, the space has been refreshed and the experience has been upgraded. Before the official opening of the galleries and exhibitions at the Art Centre, let’s have a sneak peek~!

Art gallery

An oversized poster on the Art Centre’s building façade showcases the theme of the inaugural exhibition. The “He He He He” exhibition focuses on the LEGO’s artworks, the founder of LEGO’s Paradise, with four zones in spring, summer, autumn, and winter as the clues linking up hundreds of his paintings and artworks over the years.

Scenario-based home experience

Core spiritual expression overlaid with playful usage.

The living room is the main scene of our home life, carrying a lot of human emotions, in our proposition, the living room should not just be a short stay serious rest area, should also reflect the personality, is a fun place to play.

Art life

5 senses and nature
Creating a more subtle and three-dimensional perception of life.

The natural elements of the exhibition hall can be seen everywhere, plants and paintings with the furniture scene, the whole space is full of vitality, to create a kind of atmosphere to attract nature into the room.

From the human body’s five sensory levels, in the colourful space, different methods of creation used in the design of home furnishing products, various patterns and texture hidden in the minutiae, creative design, giving people a romantic and warm surreal feeling.

The art of dining lies in the integration with the space, what is the experience of dining in an art gallery and artist’s residence space? The answer will be given here.

From the overall planning of the space to every subtle arrangement, we continue to advocate the concept of “living like an artist”, whether it is the space, paintings, or household objects, should not just be cold and icy to use the machine, but also can carry a richer emotion, more rich in temperature.

This is a space that combines office, living, exhibition and other functions, but also a place close to art, where you can have fun.
